Iam trtying to find my grandparents Phillip Charles Hunter and his wife ELisabeth Pillip we beleive was a member of the Loyal Orange LODGE who left Ireland to live in Blackburn his wife was Elisabeth who was born in Pawtucket Rhode Island and i also seek help in this area they were both born c 1870 they had at least 4 children my mother Lillian and sisters Florence and Gladys along with brother i believe was James who spent some time as a P O W in Korea before dissapearing back into Ulster around 1955 PHILLIP was well knon in blackburn where he worked as a poatman and he waqs a famed Angler and gardener he was revered as a character and a number of articles on his life appeared in local papers towards the end of his life at the age of 95 |
