hi, I'm looking for information about Ebenezer Hunter c 1888 died April 1963. He lived in the Gorbals in Glasgow and had a family there which I am told had girls in it. He was Superintendant in charge of the City Clocks. He had a brother called William ( who looked like him) and worked for the Gas Board in George Square - Glasgow. Ebenezer played the bagpipes. The family was split at one point and he moved to the other side of the river to live in Partick. I am told that he visited his familey in the Gorbals once a week. Ebenezer is an unusual name - there is an entry on the database with the same name who lived in the same place and has a DoB only two years of a difference. If you are reading this Lesley PLEASE contact me. Chris. |
