Looking for particularly info on a John Henry Ruprecht son of John Martin and Sarah Barbara born 1867 in Taree NSW who married in Bundaberg Qld in 1898 a Jessie Laing, he married according to the papers of the day as an Ensign, I have searched the QLD, NSW navies (prior to Federation) with no luck, also the Merchant Navy. Jessie died and he married a NZ woman in NZ, she died inn NZ and he married again in NSW. I cannot find any birth or death info on him or his last wife, what he did in the Navy, when and where he served etc. Does anyone know of any avenues which may be more successful tha the ones I have so far done. Thanks, Dale |
