Looking for descendants of Elsie Long and John Stoker, married in Colchester in October 1907. John was in 4th Hussars stationed in Colchester Cavalry Barracks.

Children: John Ernest 1908, Frank 1909, Elsie 1911, George 1914, and Henrietta (dec). Elsie senior died in 1920 in Newcastle, and all the children were placed in the Northern Orphanage in newcastle, in 1919 John Re-enlisted in the RAF but returned to Beaconsfield Road, Fenham, Newcastle in 1923, but moved to live in Harrow.

John died in 1971 at the home of his daughter Elsie in Aylesbury, and she was by now Elsie Lawrence, married to J. Lawrence.

Great to find descendants of Elsie and John as they are my relatives.........

Hope someone out there knows of these people and knows of their current families.
Thanks Avryll
