I am looking for the descendants of Margaret Ludgate (nee Madden) born Workington Cumberland 1868 the eldest child of Patrick and Lucy Madden. Margaret married John Ludgate (born in Annan Scotland 1865) and they had 9 children the eldest Sarah was born in Workington in 1891. The family then moved to Liverpool where John Ludgate was described as a foreman on the docks and were living in the Toxteth area in the 1901 cencus.
I would welcome any news of their descendants.
I know that Sarah married a John Palin and they too had 9 children all born in Runcorn Cheshire. They appear to be Tom,Arthur,Alfred,Joe, Clifford,Andrew,Lucy, Sarah and Margaret.
I would welcome any information about any of these distant relations of mine.
