I am trying to trace any cousins, etc. from the Markovits family who originated from a place called Berehovo, which is now in the Ukraine, but was originally in Hungary. My father was extremely secretive about his past and the only family I know from him are his brother Ougen, who married a second time a lady called Ilonka, and have one son Meir and now live in Israel. Also a sister Cecilia who emigrated to America and married an Isador Freimor and lived in New York. Family names I understand are Roth, Stern, Hoer(Goer).
