Member Since: January 2005 Posts: 0 Send Message	I'm trying to trace farther back than my Grandparents who lived in Cumberland Street, Gorbals, Glasgow. The difficulty is that my grandmother's maiden name was also McDermott (Elizabeth)although I believe there was a connection to the name Faulkner or similar. Although my father was born in 1888 I suspect that the family lived elsewhere in Glasgow prior to that and, presumably, when my grandparents were married at first. I'm assuming that my grandparents were/could have been, born in Ireland and then moved to Glasgow. Any help would be appreciated. Phil McDermott
