I am searching for any info on my father's step-father Donald McDonald Macfarlane. Donald Macfarlane married my widowed grand-mother Agnes Cook in 1908. They left for Hamilton Ontario in 1913 with my father James McBride (Agnes's first husband was Thomas McBride) and they had 5 siblings. I have no info on their life in Canada other than my father returned to Scotland with his mother (I think) c 1928 - the year my grandmother died. My father died in 1968 and he never spoke of his life in Canada or his brothers (or step-family). I would be grateful for any info that might be out there to help me in my search. Thank you.
