My grandmother was Elsie May McMahon. She died after my father was born in September 1941. Trying to find her family. Her father was Alexander Phillip McMahon born 19 November 1883 in Loch in Loch Lomond, Glen Innes son of John McMahon and Sarah Philips. 1930 lived at 645 Forrest St Boulder, WA. 1941 Residence 71 Salisbury St Subiaco Perth, WA. Died 4 June 1962 Perth, Western Australia aged 78. Alex's siblings were Ernest J McMahon, Laura M Phillips McMahon, John Francis McMahon, Amy J McMahon, Hugh Gregory McMahon, Edward McMahon b 1872, Henry Joseph McMahon, Mary Stella McMahon, and William McMahon. The McMahon boys were all very good brass musicians. |
