Palmer Morgan was my grt grandfather I have a welsh family bible he presented to to my Gran (Annie) on her wedding in which he has written his family's Dob's.
The only Morgan Morgan was Palmers brother (1821) Palmers Mum & Dad were John (1782-1857) and Rachel (1785-1867) Johns Parents were John (1758) Amy (1757) all born al born at llanilid.
Palmers son Edward Allison born at 1-2 James st Docks Cardiff on 5/5/1863 had a brother William John & Sister Mary Lottie Teressa.
Were these 3 children half bros &sister to the rest of the children of which my gran was the eldest, Palmers wife Ann H would have been 13 when William was born (16 when Edward was born)
The bottom of last reply seems to show the earlier familly Mary aged 41 his first wife, the servant Ann Morgan could be his later wife (birth place is correct).

We are related my GGrandfather was Harry Tudor Morgan born 26/11/1886 at 4 Herbert street St Mary Cardiff- his parents were Edward Allison Morgan and Alice Lemon.Harry married Sylvina Mary Tonge in December 1908 in Birkenhead.
They had children Rhona(1911),Sylvia Janet Sinclair( my Grandmother 1912 in Warrington) Alan JT(1916), Thelma S(1921).They were brought up with the story they were related to Captain Henry Morgan the privateer/pirate had you heard this?
