Hi I wonder if anyone can help locating the marriage of my Uncle- Dennis James Morgan b 1931- d 2004 he married a lady called Mary,( surname unknown so I can not progess this side) they had one Child called Dean,who`s birth dates etc are a mystery, they lived in South Harlow he is registerd death at Bromley Kent.

He seems to have been born and died in Bromley area?

I am definatley barking up the wrong tree as far as I know he was born in South Yorkshire and his mothers maiden name is Daunton, I can find all his sisters but not his birth cert yet my mother was born in 1932 and dennis was a little older, he moved to London and met and married Mary?There is no one left alive to ask so I am just grasping at straws.

I have scrolled through countless pages and you lot make it seem so easy, but that is the right one as Mum was registerd in Don valley- Doncaster. He must have taken his name off my grandad as he was William, but wa always called him Dennis.#I am so grateful so Mary was a Potterton.

yes he married Mary Potterton and their son Dean was born in 1960 same area

Birth of Dean Morgan (mother Potterton) 2b: 614: Doncaster. Q3: 1960

I know you thought that William went to London to get married but I wonder if he married before he went and finally ended up in Bromley?

Sadly though, at the moment, I can't find a birth or death for Mary

Thanks Peter, Thats great info,Mary seems to be quite a mystery woman, as for Dennis ,alias William, as a child I can only remember him living in London, and of course that is where he died. its nice to know they all started off in Yorkshire. many thanks again. I will try and find details of his sister Joyce (little that I know of) she apparently married twice the first time to Charlie thompson and they had a daughter Denise.

don't know if these are part of your family.

I couldn't find a marriage with Charlie Thompson or their daughter.
