Hi I am looking for info on Percy Morgan born late 1890s who married Louisa
Purser (Ihave purser back too 1400).
Percy Morgan was father of Roy Morgan born 1925 died Nov 30th 2009 and Joyce Morgan born 9th may 1931 married Harold W Clark.

Have you got the marriage cert to Louisa Purser? that should show his age & his fathers name .if known.
The marriage is on FreeBMD

If you buy the marriage cert it should give you the fathers name and occupation

There are many Percy Morgans in the census but without his exact age and his father's name and occupation from his marriage cert anything census data would be just a wild guess.

The only other info I have is that Percy Morgan worked for London underground will try to get more info

reactivating this thread which I did a little while ago but must've done something wrong so trying again.

Looking for the death of Percy Morgan B 1898-1899 in Newington England. Married Louise Purser 22 July 1923 in Southwark England. Father Charles Morgan , mother Sarah Ann.
Percy had Roy B. 1925 and Joyce B 1931. Joyce married in 1950 and has no recollection of her father.
I have searched BMD and don't seem to have come across it.
Anything you may be able to help with would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Chris,
Do you know if Louise remarried ? I can't find a death for Percy anywhere, that would "match up" with your Percy !! (looked on CWGC site too, but can't find anything on there)

Was Joyce told that her Father had died, and put this on her marriage certificate, or was he just not mentioned?
