Looking for descendants or ancestors of DAVID MORGAN who married JANE? abt 1799, probably in Cornwall. DAVID & JANE lived in Redruth, Corn., with children DAVID b 1800, Redruth, William b 1807, Elizabeth b 1811, Ann b 1815 and THOMAS b 1819, all b. in Redruth. DAVID m JANE LAMPSHIRE in 1826 Children: WILLIAM b abt 1825 THOMAS b abt 1829 ELIZABETH JANE b abt 1830 DAVID b abt 1833 MARY ANN b 1835 JOH HENRY b 1836 ANN m JAMES HICKS abt 1837 The first DAVID MORGAN I have was a miner who died in Redruth, aged 53, in 1833. Can't find him being born in Cornwall. As he was a miner, he may have been Welsh, and moved to Cornwall to get work as a tin miner when he was unable to get work mining in Wales. His wife JANE died 'of a decline' just over 3 months later in Redruth.
