I am researching my husband's liniage, which led me to a Robert Morgan, Immigrant to Salem, Massachusetts. During my search I have come upon conflicting information as to Robert's origins. Most of the information I obtained, through various sorces. name Robert as the son of Thomas Morgan and Catherine Herbert of Llaurhmyny, Wales. The Limbus Patrum by George Clark has Thomas' son living in London 1676. What little I know of Robert is: Immigrated to New England between 1621 - 1636 Born 1601, place unknown Died: Between 14 Oct and 10 Dec 1672 Beverly, Massachusetts 1636 First seen in Salem, Massachusetts Abt. 1633 married Margaret Norman, daughter of of Richard Norman and Margaret Alford, of England He had eight children: Samuel; Luke, Joseph, Arron, Beitha Moses, Benjamin and Bethia. Occupation: Cooper Any help will greatly be appreciate.
