Have found out some concrete info, so thought I post an update on my June message. Any and all help much appreciated. I'm tring to find details of an Evan Thomas Morgan from the Troedrhiwgwair area outside of Tredegar. He was my grandfather and I'd estimated y.o.b. around 1900. I don't know much else about him except that his mother, surname Davis / Davies (first name unknown was a caretaker at Markham School. He married Mary Lizzie Morgan b1903 in Tredegar. They moved a lot and I have addresses in Markham / Hollybush and Blackwood and I know they eventually ended up in London. I know that Evan worked in the mines and had a brother George and half brother Davies. George had a daughter called Josephine. Thanks |
