Hi everyone
Trying to find my greatgrandfathers father.
On the 1871 census the only wife SARAH MORGAN I can find is married to LLEWELYN MORGAN. Place is Newport, Mon.
Their son (my g-grandfather) was born 16-7-1871 William Edward Morgan, (info from Family Bible) born Crumlin, Mon.
By the 1881 census Sarah is down as widowed and theres a daughter CLARA age 3. Born Risca, Mon.
Sarah born Risca, Mon, c1850.
Llewelyn in 1871 is aged 29.
Can some kind soul help to determine if I have the right Llewelyn as between 1871 and 1881 he must have died, (or left them)

I could not find a marriage of a Llewelyn Morgan to Sarah at all.

thats the problem I have had too ...
the father seems to have disappeared after 1871 census!
Either he died between Clara being born - 1878 and 1881 or he just up and left!!
