Member Since: January 2011 Posts: 30 Send Message	i am trying to find my grandmothers dob and place of birth her maiden name was nettleship and she was married to john leckenby dob 1898 harrogate, i have tried searching but to no avail,perhaps some one could guide me through how and where to look? i was helped out last night and was amazed how quickly others found facts that i could not many thanks ,perhaps i could then find out more about her family line if guided?

Name: Mary Emma Leckenby Birth Date: 1 Jul 1896 Death Registration Month/Year: Jan 1984 Age at death (estimated): 87 Registration district: Darlington Inferred County: Durham, Yorkshire Volume: 1 Page: 1018 As many folk - including myself! - are only ever called by their second forename this can, does and has lead to confusion.

	There is also no birth registered for an Emma May Nettleship. I wonder if she was born and married in Scotland. Might that be a possibilty?
