I have a lot of info about my relatives who lived in Sudbury, Suffolk. However, I have been unable to trace any info on Susannah Nicholls (Sushannah) on 1861 census, and away from home in 1851 census. I am trying to find her DOB and christening date. All her brothers and sisters (there were 9 other children) were christened at St Gregory or St Peter, Sudbury. |

When I posted my query, I said her mother's maiden name was Mathilda Daley - cannot explain why as her name was Mayes, possibly May (on the 1851 census Susannah was away from home staying with Abraham May & his wife - could be her grandparents). |
