Trying to find Nicholls

Looking for information and relatives of William Nicholls. According to the 1871 census he was born in 1839/40 in Kidderminster. One child (elizabeth-1866)by first marriage. Married Mary Colbourne in 1868 - more children including sarah Ann my gt grandmother. Was missing from the 1881 census and Mary was a widow by 1891. they lived in Aston, B'ham. Family 'history' has it that he left his family and went to America at least once. I think his father may also be William. Any info would be good, he's caused a complete dead end in my research for a couple of years now! Jackie |
