Very scant knowledge but believe that my father Charles Arthur Francis N. was born in Bedlington, South Sheilds in 1919. Had a brother who he referred to as Morri (Maurice?) who married Ginny (?) The family was involved with painting, glazing etc but also had interests in The Star Theatre (?)...my paternal grandfather whose name I do not know may have owned or managed a theatre/s. I believe my father left home at 11 and went to live with relatives, possibly Morri. He later ran his own painting and decorating firm in Bradford, West Yorks. He was also in the RAF, possibly during the war and after running stores at Cottesmore. Worked for Leeds & Bradford Boiler Co. from about 1970-1977. Died in 1977.
