Find Ancestors

Hiya, please could someone help i have my grandads marriage certificate but cannot for the love or money find his birth!!! therefore cannot get on with finding parents and siblings
The marriage certificate says:

William Thomas Orr - age 19 - Bachelor - plumbers mate - brecon drive, bury - Fathers name, William Samuel Orr, no occupation.
Emily Thomas - age 19 - spinster- beamer? - ashworth st, bury - Fathers name Samuel Thomas, occupation crane driver.

saturday april 26th 1952 at the parish church, all saints elton in the county of lancashire.

I think i have found emily's birth in 1932 jul quarter 8c 637 mothers name Atkinson, bury lancashire

Please if anyone can put me in the right directions i would be so grateful.

hiya,
i dont know if there are any siblings, i really dont know anything about him thats why its proving hard for me to find anything out.

perhaps he was registered in the mothers maiden,, name,??and William Samual and the mother married after his birth,or William Samuel may not be the biological father,??

i hope they were married coz other wise how do you find a birth under a mothers maiden name?

all i have is my natural father was terence orr born nov 1952, on his birth certificate shows his father being william thomas orr and mother emily orr formerly thomas. He was born at fairfield general, bury.
so i looked up there wedding and purchased there certificate which gave me the details i have posted and i'm afraid thats all i have and just dont know where to go from here as i have been in touch with natural father but didnt answer any of my questions, i dont even know if there are brothers and sisters.

thanks june, could be him as i found my natural father not in lancashire but burnham on sea, and in the late 1990's he lived in wokingham? is this near?

dont know if this could be parents,?

Just had a thought maybe he is scottish ?

I can't find him in 1932 but just a point

you write 'being william thomas orr and mother emily orr formerly thomas', could he not have been born William Thomas as this was the mother's maiden name?

do also think he could be irish or scotish as theres no trace in england..

Have just spotted this for William S Orr died 3rd quarter 1967 Aged 62 in Bury 10b 890

It is a possibility. What do you think?

i have just received the death certificate for william samuel ORR and it is the right one as it names the informant as his son william thomas orr that lives with him, he died aged 62 on the 4th of october 1967 bury lancashire.
Which means he'd be born 1905... cannot find any birth for him either!!
And when looking for info on william thomas orr his son i noticed the 2nd quarter (april etc.) 1933 is missing.
could someone please help as where do i look if that is missing from the complete bmd.
Also how do you find out if they had anymore kids?
HELP....its driving me potty..please

hi june thankyou..
i have also tried them apart from the april quarter in 1933 which is missing.
i cant even find the birth for his father therefore cannot find the marriage, which if i could of found the marriage or name of the mother then maybe it would lead to william thomas orr's birth.
don't know where to go from here.....anybody any suggestions, anything at all its much appreciated.
p.s i dont know 100% that william thomas orr has died.
