To Kara and Carol - you could try asking the DSS. There is a service where they will track down someone for you, you write the person a letter which they then pass on. Your Dads will then be able to decide whether they want to get in touch. My stepbrother recently tracked down his dad after about 15 years out of touch with each other. If you have any trouble please email me [email protected] and I will ask my stepbrother for the exact details of the department.
