Trying to find Robb

I am trying to solve a mystery! I am trying to identify the Father of my Great Grandfather Alexander Robb. Alexander was born February 16th 1863 in Cults, Banchory Devenick, Kincardine. It states on his birth certificate that he was illegitimate, his Mother was Alexandrina Burness and his Father is named as Alexander Robb from Denmills Parish, Peterculter, Kincardine. There were many Alexander Robbs in this area at this time, does anybody have any information that might narrow down my search? Could anybody suggest a way I might track him down?
