Member Since: October 2008 Posts: 6 Send Message	Hi, Maybe someone could help me please? - I am trying to find out ancestry - parents/siblings of my great grandmother Ellen Smith DOB 21.05.1900 - Born in London and Married to Charles Samuel Ixer (and had 10 children). Any help would be great. Added: Hi thanks very much for trying to help!. Pams search came up with a census result showing Islington. I am aware that is where my grandfather (Ellens son) came from, so I am presuming that Islington could most likely be the right area in London. Any other info anyone has would be great!. Thanks!

	Dear Michelle Whereabouts in London was Ellen born? Need more info for a search. There are so many Smiths to search. Is the surname of her husnamd spelt LXER, with a L not an I? Will try and help. Best wishes

	You should first purchase the Marriage certificate for Ellen to Charles Ixer. This will name her father. You will then know whether I have found the correct Ellen on the census...there is no other way to check. Then you could order her birth certificate and give the father's name as a checking point but get this from the marriage certificate. You should get these certificates to make sure you are following the correct family.
