Find Ancestors

Trying to find any information on my husband, Anthony Thompson’s long lost family Smiths. This is all he knows or can recall from his childhood memories. William Henry Smith was born in Deptford, London 1903 and married Stella Henrietta Sandy (1905 Deptford) in 1926 at St Luke’s Church, Deptford. They had two sons Alan and John Michael. Alan was born probably in the 1930s an John possibly around 1940. William worked for the Admiralty and was stationed in Gibraltar where Tony, his mother and sister spent one summer holiday in 1952 with Bill, Stella and John. All he knows from then on is that they moved back to Bolton, Lancashire at the end of Bill’s posting. Shortly after this Stella died in 1957 and his mother attended the funeral in Bolton. Alan who also worked for the Admiralty returned from Hong Kong (or somewhere like that in the Far East) in the late 1950s and visited Tony’s family on his way home to Warrington. Tony’s mother was Ruby Sandy the younger sister of Stella.
I am wondering in hope more than expectation if anyone out there has information on the family so that we might be able to get in touch.

William Henry Smith was born 2 Sept 1902.
Marriage to Stella H Sandy 1 May 1926.
Alan born 8 Jan 1927 in Deptford.
Alan married Marjorie for she returned with Alan from Hong Kong in 1955. Possible marriage in 1950, Newton district, Lancashire.
Their return address was 781 Warrington Road, Risley, Warrington.
Marjorie's birthday was 28 Feb 1930. Possibly her maiden name was Vernon and she might have been born in Warrington
Alan a probable death Sept Q 1997 in Bath & NE Somerset District.
John Michael's birth was registered in Sevenoaks March Q 1940. Possibly the family was evacuated from London?
No further information on William Henry or his son John Michael.

Hopefully this later information may be familiar to someone.
