I'm trying to find the birth record of Robert William Barnaby Smith born in Harleston, Norfolk c1854. He married Emma Elizabeth Hunt in 1877,in Southwark, and gave his name as just William Smith! (It is the same person!). He married again in 1904 to Elizabeth Bailey and used all three christain names! On his childrens marriage certs he states Robert William Barnaby Smith!! His father was James, a farmer. |

He doesn't come up on the births on Ancestry so perhaps his birth wasn't registered. Registration wasn't compulsory until 1875. |

Harleston is a sub-district of Depwade so it looks like you might have found him Choccy. |
