Find Ancestors

Trying to locate the ancestors of Ethel Smith b.1900 who married George Reuter b.1902.
Sister of Ethel, Lottie Smith b.1898 married George's brother Arthur Reuter b.1899.
I believe both sisters were born and married in England.
I'd appreciate any help.

I found that one rootgatherer which is why I requested confirmation of birth dates. They were given as exact dates.

I agree that that census record doesn't tie in with the years of birth that Sharon has given. I only posted it in the hope that Sharon would come back and tell us where she got the year of birth for Lottie from. As so often when people are looking for help, they don't tell us whether their information is based on fact or hearsay and it does waste some time. Not to worry, hopefully Sharon will come back today and let us know if we are on the right track.

Thanks, yes this is the first time I've posted something.
Ethel is my grandmother, dad told me the DOB was 25/7/1900 so no evidence that this is correct. I don't know much about Lottie only that I've been told that she was born in 1898.
Apparently they have Indian decendants and that's why Lottie decided not to have any children in case the dark skin came through. That was the thinking of that age.
George and Ethel immigrated to Australian in 1928 when my dad was 3 years old. George & Ethel had 2 sets of twins once in Australia.
I think I do have to obtain the birth certificate to verify.

The date of birth you had for Ethel fits with the one posted above. When you get the birth certificate if you add the details to your post here we can do census lookups if you require them.
