Hi Tony,
That's the marriage My nana was a Smith and she married a Smith, who could believe that!!! I didn't have the date of the marriage though, thanks. My Pa's parents James Smith and Fanny Andrews is as far as I go, so know very little about his side of the family.

Cant find a George ANDREWS marriage to a Elizabeth FREEMAN in Australia

Free BDM ...U.K does show

Marriages Sep 1848
ANDREWS George Keynsham 11 122
FREEMAN Elizabeth Keynsham 11 122

The district Keynsham spans the boundaries of the counties of Gloucestershire and Somerset

As this marriage was 1848....there possibly could be more children before Fanny in 1860

Hi Sharon.

If you need a little more info on the Frank Wiliam SMITH side.....eg: His father James SMITH....B.1860c D.1937 ( as you said ) just let me know.

You say he, James died in 1937. .....Just so you know, there are 15 James SMITH deaths index'd in 1937 in Victoria......and appox 6 James SMITH births in 1860 in Victoria.

Perhaps you already know who his parents were?

Hi Tony,
I spent a few hours at the library yesterday, found a little more inforamtion on George Andrews and Elizabeth Freemans children. I thought the Sarah born in WA 1858 might be wrong or she had died at an early age because they had named another child Sarah Ann b 1867. Anyway it turns out Sarah died in 1859 in WA aged 11mths,Alfred also died in 1866 aged 21mths and William died aged 10weeks. Leaving George,Sarah Ann and Elizabeth as the only surving children.I cannot believe they lost three children it would have been bad enough to loose just one. I also think I have found the parents for Elizabeth Freeman- George Freeman and Sarah unknown. I was only thinking this morning about getting a marriage cert. for my Pa(Frank Wiliiam Smith) & Nan( Teresa Gertrude Smith) to see if I could find aliitle more on James Smith and where he came from??
Sharon,
PS I dont know who James Smith's parents were
