Hi , am looking for any informtion on my grandmother, Edith Smith, Born in the Manchester area, DOB: 28.11.1899, RIP 1985, Had a brother called Robert, may have other siblings, unsure.Fathers name Jack Smith, I have no information on him, other than name, was deceased prior to Ediths marriage, Edith Married in Salford 1919 to John edward Dunning, Had 5 sons together, lived in Salford,only information i have, can anyone help me. |

hi, I do have the marriage certificate, it names jack smith as father of edith, but i am unable to read if it says john or josh, or joseph, the writting is really poor, for johns father unfortunatly. So i still have no real leads on my grandfather, other than he was born in birkenhead, befor moving to salford with his parents. |

usually the marriage certificates give the occupations of the father's, unless it says deceased. |
