Hi
I am trying to find where my great grandfathers brother died and was buried the details I have are he was born Islington 1888 this was registered as Stoke Newington London. He married Cassandra Holly Morley 1912 in Woolwich. I only know of one of their children Elizabeth V born 1930 who married Harry Forkner in 1956 in Whitney Oxfordshire. Any info on his death or Children would be gratefully received.

Hi Ann
Thanks I have the census info just can't track his death or Kids. I know he was in Sidcup Kent in 1911 also. I have his army records from WW1 as well but he survived that. Stumped on just 2 points!

I can't find a birth for Elizabeth V Smith mmn Morley. In fact I can't find a birth for that name at all in 1930.

Hi Ann
I have Cassandra's cremation records and she died a widow in 1958 in Cambridge. I also found a Claude V in 1939 Cambridge but he turned out to be Claude Victor so not a match either. They must have registered his death surely?

Hi Ann
The only reason I know about Elizabeth to is that my great grand father went to her wedding and we have photo's and I couldn't find her birth but apparently they didn't always register them back then as it wasn't compulsory?
