Hi,
I'm trying to find the parents of Elizabeth Smith, born abt 1797 in Pailton, she married James Adams in 1840 in Daventry and went on to have 8 children.
Thank you.

If her baptism isn't on the LDS sites, you will need to visit the County Records Office

Do you really think she produced 8 children after the age of 43?

If that is the right marriage then the cert should name her father.

Sorry for delay! Lots for me to look at! I'm trying to remember where I got her maiden name from, I gave up on this line about a year ago and have now decided to revisit it. So it looks possible that her maiden name might not be smith after all then?

Victoria

Victoria Report 30 Apr 2011 16:03

Think I am going to have to remove her surname and start again as looking back over my ancestry I believe it is one of those that saved when I viewed another tree but there are no records to confirm. I don't like to have stuff on there that isn't definate! Sorry for confusion.

Flick

Flick Report 30 Apr 2011 16:04

You need also to re-think her marriage year!

Victoria

Victoria Report 30 Apr 2011 16:06

I was thinking the same but I have a marriage record that matches??? Confusing again!
