I am trying to trace my grandmothers family tree. Can you help. My grandmother was born Amelia Smith in Darlington in about 1880. She had a sister called Maude. Around 19912 she married Louis Philip Hoss whom she met in Richmond Surrey where she was in service as aladies maid and he was a musician at the Richmond Theatre. they lived in Darlington for a while but then moved to Llanelli in S.Wales. I think she passed away in the late 1930's but her sister Maude was still alive at my grandfathers funeral in 1952. Does anyone out there know of the family? Relatives would be even more welcome |
