Member Since: May 2007 Posts: 0 Send Message	Hi, I'm Frederick Smith aka Ricky. I'm a newbie and with a name like Smith am having immense difficulty. With 1m + trees to seach what did I expect? I know very little about my ancestors other than my parents names. I am looking for any details concerning my parents ancestors/relatives.Basically I'm after any info. concerning my parents. They were George William Smith who married a Lillian May Edwards, born 18 Oct 1910/11, in Oct/Nov/Dec 1935 in Romford. When I was born in April 1939 they were living in St Albans Road, Seven Kings, Ilford, Essex. During WW 2 they moved to Swansea where my mother worked in a munitions factory. My father was unable to work as he was suffering from TB. After the war we moved to Redditch in Worcestershire, where my father died in approx. 1947. From what little I was told I gather that my mother may have been rejected/disowned by her family. My mother died in 1991. That's about the extent of my knowledge. If anyone out there has anything that might add to my knowledge I will of course be grateful.
