Member Since: December 2006 Posts: 29 Send Message	Hi CHARLES SMITH - BOSHAM I am trying to find out about my Father's family. His name was Eric Edwin Stanton Smith, born in 1923. His Father was Charles Smith who owned his own house building business, in Bosham, prior to the 2nd World War. He was marrried to Eva Combes, brother to Ernest Combes, owner of the Combes Boat Yard in Bosham, Sussex. My Father has/had 2 sisters - Jane and Dorothy. Jane is married to a McWilliams (not sure of spelling). Dorothy is Married and had twin boys. Kind Regards Diana

Member Since: December 2006 Posts: 29 Send Message	Hi Just an update. I am now trying to obtain information on Charles Smith's father - James Smith. He was born in 1855 and married on the 11 Nov 1887 in Holy Trinity Church Bosham, Sussex to Fanny Combes. John's father was Henry Smith. I have been told that he and or James originated from Scandinavia. I have reached the proverbial brick wall. Thanks Diana
