i am looking for information on my 'lost' aunty Jessie Smith. Born Newcastle Northumberland UK to Thomas Montague Smith Alice Mary nee Singleton. Thomas was a Pay Sergeant with the K.O.Y.L.I. possibly stationed @ Pontefract West Yorkshire. in the 1901 census she is with the family @ Tanshelf Pontefract. She moved to Australia & has a family here. she visited her sisters in the uk approx 1960's, & returned here. i am a son of her brother Fred ,who, with brother Walter moved & lived in Australia until their deaths in the 1940's. she has 16 relations in Australia now & several nephews & nieces in England.please contact me through genes reunited. |
