Julie - have a look at freebmd as it is a great source of information without paying and although not all are transcribed you can view a lot of the indexes. Information after around 1910ish sometimes is hard work as you have to view each of the 4 indexes for every year and even on sites where you pay you still have to do this. Hope this helps.

if you are still offering, could you see if there is anything for a marriage between Peter Morris and Delia (or poss Cordelia) Easton c1830. this would have been in the Hastings area.
Any info would be great

There is a lot of Bettesworth marriages in Sussex so would need a bit more info such as year, spouse (christian), area or whatever you can supply

their first child was born 1826 in 1841 they were living in battle

The marriages I've offered to look up are for pre 1837. As you are looking for one in the 1900's you will need to check the marriage indexes. You can do this using FreeBMD although not all the records are transcribed yet. Hope this helps.
