Cecil is my fathers brother. His sister is Elsie. I am having difficulty in sourcing any further info expecially for their father. Cecil's wife's name was Gladys, and two sons Robert and Stan, and daughter Maureen. Think all located in the Grimsby area.

There are NO Cecil STANLEY's born in 1903 anywhere in the UK

There is a cecil in June quater 1904 born inPopular District ?

If Cecil & Elsie had a brother Harold ??? Then the parents are William Stanley born 1869 Sutterton Lincs & Eliza A nee DOBSON Born 1872 Laceby Lincs (I think if it's the same family)

They married in 1895 Grimsby his father was John and her's James

I think you are right Suzi as I found a Cecil Stanley MARSHALL who married a Gladys

Please don't give up on me I haven't lost interest just so many 'dead ends. It's the Marshall family I am looking for. Know that Jane Elizabeth Shepherd was the mother, but my mother in law is a bit vague about fathers name. So John is a useful starting point, thanks for that

I can't find a marriage of a Marshall with a Jane Elizabeth Shepherd. Have I got Jane in the right marriage - she was Cecil's mother?
I think you definitely need Cecil (or your father's) birth cert.
