I am trying to find anybody who knew a Alfred John William Adamson,He was born in Portsmouth on 22 Sept 1900,and he died
in 1973 he was reg at Chatham. He may of been living in London area between 1928 to 1973.I think he may also have been in the air force

Hi Barry,

I think that we may well be looking for information on the same person. My Grandfather was Alfred John William Adamson who died in 1973 in Gillingham Kent, registered in Chatham.

He married my Grandmother during the war and at the time was an Air Ferry Pilot. I also have his birthday as being 22 Sept.

I am also aware that he lied about his age to my Grandmother which we discovered on his death. This may well be the same person. One last thing he went by the name of Harry.
