Many thanks for looking this up for me Cathy it is much appreciated. Shame about the baptisms but I may need to go to Westminster Records Office to see (as I strongly suspect) if their children were baptised at the same Church.

Again many thanks
Marianne.

Hi Maggie

Have checked the actual death indexes from 1894 to 1901 when the mother appears as a widow on the census. There is nothing apart from a Samuel Willimott in the March Q 1900 age 74y (which is probably to old) Horncastle (wrong area).
So i checked back from 1894 to 1890 as Samuel wasn't actually on the 1891 census with his family and still nothing.

Hi Maggie

Have nothing on disc for those dates. I did find the family in 1891 and 1901 census with mother Sarah born abt 1861 Brixton and children Verney H abt 1880 born Marylebone or Paddington and Florence abt 1887 born Clerkenwell and Elsie abt 1894 born Peckham.
I cannot spot a marriage or death and i can't find them in 1881. Verney Hugh Williment was born 1880 so you would expect to find them in 1881. Where do you have them together as a couple to know his name is Samuel?

Hi Cathy, Thanks again, this family is turning into a nightmare. Got them in 1841 in Lancashire with 2nd child they disappear in 1851 and reappear again in Lancashire with more children who were all born in Manchester. I can only presume they never married or had children baptised. Out of 9 children I have only managed to find one birth and no baptisms.

Oh the joys of family history research.

Thanks again Cathy. Lou
