Hi Cathy, Really appreciate the kind offer. Would Love a baptism look up please; Sorry don't know which church.

1836 Camberwell George Henry Jackman 1836.Parents should be George & Elizabeth Jackman, (I've asked for their marrige look up in Middlesex on your other thread)

Thanks again, Lou

Hi Cathy, Just had a thought, George and Elizabeth may have married where their son was born, so could you try looking up for their marriage in London, possibly Camberwell, if you don't mind. I will understand if you think I am cheeky afterall you did try for me in Middlesex.
George Jackman / Jakeman to Elizabeth Beddell around 1835.

Again, Many thanks,

Cathy in Portsmouth

Hi Cathy
Thanks anyway.
When I look on the IGI for Elatch ( I found her marriage) I also get Alice coming up so maybe it is a derivative of Alice, I hadn't heard of the name before.

Ann

Hi
I wonder if you can help please, I have a marriage between Elatch Balls and John Faint 1828, Christchurch, Newgate,Greyfriars
As Elatch is an unusual name I wonder if you could look for her baptism or even that of John Faint. I have his birth as 1804 and hers as 1805
Anything you can find would be appreciated
Many thanks

Hello there thank you so very much for your very kind offer. It is a big ask as I do not have much information other that the name of Andrew Wilkes/Wilks who married a Christiana. Their first child that I know of was born 1814 so they would have married around that time. Where I do not know but if you could please be kind enough to look out for the names when you are doing your searches I would really appreciate it. Regards Irene

Hi Cathy ...

Great offer - thank you!

Like Jill, I'm also doing a one-name study and wondered if you could have a look at your indexed Middlesex disc for any instances of the surname WASTIE.

I doubt whether you will find many (if any!), but if there are too many to list, then I'm particularly interested in anything pre-1800.

Many thanks.

Hi Cathy
My GGGrandfather William DOCKING was born May 22nd 1812 in Endell Street Ly-ing in Hospital, son of John (occupation Lamplighter) & Elizabeth DOCKING. Elizabeth was admitted 17.4.1812 aged 35 years, wife of John Docking,Lamplighter of St George,Bloomsbury. At St George's Church,Hanover Square,London is the marriage of John Docking & Elizabeth Henson on 8.8.1803. Can you find any baptisms for any other children?
