Cathy don`t know if your still doing look ups but if so could you please check St Mary Mary le bone Middlesex.

Looking for Argent Keemish marriage to Mary?

I have 3 children for them, there could be more.....

Edward Argent Keemish b 1806
Eliza Ann Keemish b 1800
Mary Thirkill Keemish b 1810 all were baptised at Saint Mary Marylebone Road. Eliza Ann was baptised 16th Jan 1807 same time as Edward Argent, so she may have been born elswhere.

Would be grateful for any info you could give me.

Hi Alan

Have had a look at which churches came under Bethnal Green and only St Matthews did that i have on the discs. The registers only go up to 1812 for this church.
Sorry to not be of more help.

Hi Cathy

Could I ask you to please look for the following:

James Harper (Baptism) 1829, I don't know what church it would be in nut he was born in Bethnal Green.

Ann Hughes (Baptism) 1833 and Ann was also born in Bethnal Green.

Infact if you find anything Harper especially around the Bethnal Green churches I would be interested.

Many thanks.

Hi Nicky

Nothing in those two parishes. The St Pauls cathedral only goes up to 1756 (as i have just discovered!) and only has 5 marriages after that between 1877 and 1896.

Thank you for looking Cathy.

If ever you do spot anything I would be grateful but it sounds like a bit of a nightmare!

Cathy, thank you for your kind offer.....could you please look up a marriage for

Thomas Critchett and Lucy Bartlett should be between 1832 and 1837, it may be St. Margarets Westminster, but I see your records don`t go up that far, so could you check St George Hanover square please, and St Pauls Cathedral if records go up to that date.

Thanks in advance

Nicky

Jill there are none on the Middlesex disc. The other discs are so complex i think i will have to keep an eye out as i go through.

Hi Cathy

Are these indexed alphabetically - if so - could I be a bit cheeky and ask if you can find any MOCOCK marriages. I'm doing a One Name Study on them. (sometimes they show as MOORCOCK/MORECOCK or MOWCOCK - but antyhing you find would be much appreciated.

If it's a lot of work please don't worry as I couldn't live with the guilt - just say no if it's going to take you a lot of time and effort.

Many thanks

Jill
