ELIZABETH sorry no Edginton or similar married an Amy on the Marriage disc. Could it have occurred in the Abingdon district, if so, those marriages are not on the Oxfordshire Marriage Disc.

REDBUTLER
Having looked on the 1871 census, I saw that Ann Bugby came from Long Coombe in Oxfordshire, there are no Bugbys in Longcoombe.
So she married outside of Oxfordshire from the marriage disc.
There are the following Anns baptised in Longcoombe at around the date she gives for her birth
Ann Walker 27/2/1803 daughter of Mary
Ann Batts 20/11/1803 dtr Thomas and Francis
Ann Phipps 25/3/1804 dtr Joseph and Elizabeth
Ann Green 1/4/1804 dtr William and Sarah
Ann Ovnill 14/4/1805 dtr Thomas and Elizabeth, but I think she married Thomas Slatter in 1830
Ann Tustin 5/5/1805 dtr John and Mary
Anne Kilby 13/10/1805 dtr John and Hannah

Hello Margaret can I please ask for another look up for Headington please a marriage between Harriett Webley and William Glaister, is Harrietts father William and who are the witnesses please.

Also can you please solve the mystrey of what happened to Richard Slatter
who married Alice Webley at Woodstock 1874. They never seemed to be together
as she went off to London with her sisters 1881 census. Cannot find Richard James Slatter born 1852 Chipping Norton in any of the census after marriage. Did they marry because they had a child Slatter who perhaps died Note a Harry Slatter born and died around that time.
Any help would be much appreciated. Regards Irene

Hi there Margaret - hope you are well. Would you please be kind enough to see if you have the baptism of Susan Webley in Woodstock - born to William and Susannah 1848. Not sure if her given name is Susan or Susannah - perhaps she was named after her mother.
Do you have her marriage details 1872 to John Whitlock at Woodstock please and son William J Whitlock born 1875 Wodstock who I am not sure if he ever married. Still at home 1901 census. Many thanks and kind regards Irene
