Hi Philip
Looking for Andrew O'Connor born c1840 in or near Mullingar, Co Westmeath. Father Thomas, a carpenter, mother Mary. Ne left for Liverpool in 1858 and joined the Royal Marines in 1860. Hi Philip,

I was browsing and saw your offer.

Please could you look up the birth of my grandmother.

Florence Kathleen Callaghan. c 1907. On her marriage in Aug 1926 she was 19 and 43 on her death in July 1950.

Her father was Arthur Callaghan a soldier.

I am having trouble tracing her birth in England and wondered if she was born in Ireland.

Thanks in advance. Regards.

Donna.

Does that cover Dublin?
I am trying to find Patrick Simpson 1905 but in the 1911 free census search I found he lived with his grand mother Elizabeth Mcguire and so did his sister Mary 1907. How can I find his parents names or Elizabeth Mcgurie husbands name..
I am also intrested in Christina Mcmahon 1901.
Big hugs

Hello Philip
Would you be so kind as to try and trace the family of Joseph Duffy bn c 1888 aged 23 in 1911. He married Mary Julia Nichol in 1911 Birkenhead Liverpool and their first born child Patrick bn 6/12/1913 was born there. Joseph and Mary returned to Belfast about April 1914 and a further 12 children were born to this couple.
The only address we have is in the latter years being 35 Ravenhill Avenue Belfast 6. One of the daughters was Gretta and another son Brendon (not sure how you spell this). I wish I could offer more information but alas that is all I have.

Also Phillip, my g g grandfather, Robert Wilson (born 1865) married Mary (Minnie) Ewing from a plantation in Lisburn, I believe. I would love to see a marriage certificate for them partly to confirm some addresses or family names. I would guess they married around 1887 - 1900? Sorry, I am sure this is too vague. Are they on a census anywhere? Co. Antrim? They had 2 children Kathleen and William ... any info on them would be great. She died in 1931. Huge thanks.

Hi Phillip, My g g g grandfather James Wilson was baptised at St Anne's Shankill, Belfast on 222/03/1805 and his mother was Margaret and his father was James, from Belfast - but there is no address for them or occupation so the trail goes cold. I really want to know more about James and Margaret Wilson, the parents of James Wilson, born 1805. OK tall order... what do you suggest? A marriage certificate would be fantastic or the birth cert of young James born 1805 - maybe would give more detail about the parents - but I don't know when they married and guess he was born a few months before his baptism.

Many thanks. Hugely appreciated. I will go to the church soon and see if I can see the baptism records?

Hi Philip,
Thanks for your kind offer!

Please can you look for:

Birth: Robert McCorkell - late 1850's/early 1860's in Londonderry. (Married Ellen Reid, think he had a brother called William))

and: George McCorkell - born 1830's to 1840's.
If there's a marriage for George, that would be great too!

Thanks so much :)
