Im really sorry its taken so long but I couldnt find him in the census and its because the surname was Corke not Cork in the 1901 census.

Also by the 1901 census Jame's mother Olive had passed away and his father was remarried to Louisa.

But yes he was still living at home in 1901, hope this helps you.

I havent found much up to now but I have found the marriage of your grandparents which was jan-mar 1929 south leeds and the death of your grandfather was may 1996 leeds aged 89 yrs, which also gives his birth as 26 Dec 1906. I f you know when your grandmother died and where I would be to find out her date of birth for you, but im not sure if im going to be able to get their parents or not.

Trying to find Louisa Ring c. 1845 - found on 1861 census as 16 years living in London born middx - was a book folder
then she disppears by 1871 and I can't find death entry for her - parents not on census either but I think father's name was William Ring c1815

Sorry the only census I have managed to find them in are the same as you but I have found 2 deaths if that is any help.

Stephen Stevenson death july-sept 1856 Surrey. Sorry age or birth year not known for this one.

Sarah Stevenson death Oct - Dec 1877 she was aged 73 years which looks like its definitely the right person and that was in Camberwell, Surrey.

Can you look up Stephen Stevenson born c 1789 found on 1851 census but loose him after that - his wife appears in 1871 census Sarah Stevenson (c. 1804) with Daughter Sarah Stevenson (c.1831) but none of the family are in 1861 census - children of Sarah and Steven
