Were his parents James Keir and Margaret Dollar?

A tree on anc.... says he had 2 children, one a John Erskine Keir born Wellington. Is this your tree?

Have had a look in the Electoral Roles and some other records but would need some further details do you have any idea of which state in Australia he may have been in.

Ancestry doesn't match the name precisely bit there are a lot of records for a James Keir.
