HI is their any one who can help?
I know every one must here this all the time but i really do need urgent help! I have been searching for a specific family that could mean for me the medical information that i so badly need i am in pain 24/7 and cant take much more!
my mother is also ill and after asking family members of any nurological problems within the family history,we have lerned that my gran is not my real gran and you can imagine how devistated my mother is ! but bottom line i need to find this lady can any one help.

Her name is margaret moir milne
i am not sure what her exact age is but my papa was born in 1929! she married him in 1952 his name was john newlands they lived in glasgow (310 kenedy street or 133 barlornock road) both worked in the sheet metal factory called carricks. They had 2 children both girls 1 in 1954 called mary newlands and the other in1956 jeanie newlands i have her birth lines.
In 1959 john and margaret took the girls and headed to california i am lead to belive that margaret had family there!
something went and john returned to glasgow with his daughters with out margaret in1960/1.
she returned at a later date. as far as i know she had more children to two other men i think she had a baby girl around 1962 and called her linda and a boy a couple of years later.
the only other info i have is that i know margaret had an older sister called elizabeth milne married name hunter she had a boy in 1954 give or take a year.
PLEASE HELP ME ! OR POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

no the other kids were born britain i think it was in england

i have an N.I number but i dnt know if it is my grandfathers or margarets is there some where i can check this?

keep it simple & you may get around the Data Protection

OR just ask if the numbers you have are still valid
if it is Margaret's it will be linked to her pension

If you also mention Margaret's maiden name/ married name etc
as your NI number is linked to you throughout life no matter how many name changes.............assuming it is hers

Just to advise you that the 133 Balornock Road you mention also appears on my birth certificate. It's Stobhill Hospital!

You might like to compare answers. Have not got very far with information, Scotland is a difficult brick wall to run into.

You mention the father's name as "Shug". That is the Scottish nickname for Hugh.

since posting first request i have found lots of information thanks to all you kind people out there i cant thank you enough!,
betty milne hunter died at her home in glasgow in 1992 death registered by her son j.hunter resident in jersey.
margaret moir milne newlands and her most recent married name CHUGG as i had miss herd and posted shugg.
there are no death records in scotland for margaret but thanks to every one i know she has got two sons christopher and alexander.
it would be nice if margaret was still with us but in the same sense her sons should know the medical info that my mother and i require.
we can now knowing what we know find the two brothers and try and build some bridges!
