Hi Emma,
There are quite a few Denahy's ,some John,Daniel's and a patrick Sheehan.
Any idea what occupation was in the family back about 1832-1838?
These records only cover those dates unless you know roughly what their names were its gonna be abit hard.Possibly Daniel runs in the family and John.

His father was Andrew McBeth but thats all i know really except he probably came from Scotland. The land they lived on was at Kildoag,Slieve Kirk. in Bonds Glen.Co Lond onderry. Land was owned by the Skinners Guild i believe. Would it be poss to find out more about

Hi Lorraine,
I don't have much info but would love to see if you could find something for me.

Mayo / Galway / Sligo / Kings please.

I have the family in 1841 living in Staffordshire, England, They must have come to England between 1811 - 1841. Unfortunatley I don't know their mother's maiden name or husbands christian name. I know it's a really long shot, but they may have just been there at the time of the census.

Mary Coyne / Coin mother; b around 1776 Kings / Galway
Patrick Coyne / Coin b 1803 - 1811 Mayo
Peter Coyne / coin b 1808 Sligo / Galway

thanks again, Lou

Hi Yummy Mummy, thanks, didn't realise I had done that, must be brain drain day. Thanks

Hello !
i need some help. My dad was John Sheehan born in Charleville Co Cork in 1939. He is the only child of Daniel Sheehan and Catherine Denehey (?) All i know is Daniel had a brother Patrick /Paddy. I'm guessing Daniel and Catherine would have been born around 1910-1919.
Sorry i know it's mega vague, but the Irish are keeping schtum !
Any help you could give would be great
