The only Peter Gardiner born in Scotland coming up on Ancestry (England census) was born in 1806 and has a 22 year old daughter so he can't be yours. |

trying to find Peter Gardiner on any U.K. 1861 census he was born in 1834 in Airth Stirlingshire and appears in local census for 1841 and 1851 for Dunmore Stirlingshire |
