searching for walter or ernest jenkins

I am trying to find any information about my grandfather Walter Frederick Jenkins born in 1890 or my great grandfather Ernest Jenkins. Walter was supposedly born in either gresford NSW or Newcastle NSW. Ernest I do not know where he was born all I know he was a miner and was married to a Janet/ Jeanette Lipscombe. Any Information will be greatly appreciated. Walter was married to Elizabeth Caroline Soper and their son Frederick Jenkins is my father

Do you have your grandparents marriage certificate, it may have place of birth..

can not find a birth for him, but his death certififate may also have some extra info.

Hi Julie,
Many thanks for the reply, I have the marriage certificate of my grandparents and the death certificates of my grandparents also the birth certificate of my grandmother Elizabeth Caroline Soper. I just cannot seem to find any record of Walter's birth but family stories say he was one of many children and also made a ward of the state. One story even has him being shipped out from England as a child, but I am determined to find out all about him. Once again thank you for all the info that you sent, much appreciated.
