Find Ancestors

I am trying to tie up quite a few loose ends as I try and complete one side of my family so there may be a few posts from me over the coming days, so I apologise now, but this is like a final stab at finding the info as I have drawn a complete blank.

Thomas Lloyd Rogers born 1846 caernarfon (parents Hugh Rogers and Grace Samuel), married Elizabeth Pughe in 1875. I know they had 3 children, from a family history I have, Grace, who died of diptheria bu not sure what age, the history states she was 'a lovely sweet girl' so dont think she was a baby, and 2 sons, Elliot and another one who died in a lunatic asylum, but no idea when. Elliot appears on the 1891 census (born 1888 in Liverpool) living with his aunt Mary Thomas in Caernarfon, in 1901, Mary Thomas has a Frederick Elliot Rogers born 1888, Liverpool living with her, and I think this is the same child. Thomas Lloyd Rogers was a mariner so i assume he was away at sea with his wife which is why his son is with his sister. As for grace and the other son, i am struggling to find their births and death (in Grace's case), where am I going wrong? Both Thomas Rogers and Elizabeth Pughe are from Wales, Caernarfon area and I assume they were only in Liverpool as it was a port hence Elliot's birth there. I cant find them on any census records so again am struggling with identifying their other children.

I assume you have certs that back up your info - such as Thomas's parents' names, & Elizabeth's surname?

If so, is there any other info; for example witnesses, etc?

Also how are you sure Mary is Thomas's sister if you haven't found him on any census? because she is a widow in 1891 so she's probably his sister-in-law if any relation at all.

I dont have certificates but I have this family history and also stories from my grandmother, so I know most of it is true.

I can find Thomas Lloyd Rogers and his family (father Hugh, mother Grace, sisters Mary, Laura, Margaret (my gt gt grandmother), Annie, Elizabeth, and brothers Hugh and Samuel) on the earlier census records. I have found the marriage registration between Elizabeth Yapp Pughe and Thomas Lloyd Evans 1875 on ancestry and the date etc matches my family history.

I am trying to trace Thomas L Evans following his marriage to Elizabeth Pughe, mainly to confirm who his children were and where they ended up. As far as I know Elliot inherited his Aunts farm, and came into alot of property. I just want to confirm this, also to find out about the daughter, and who this other son was. I have a photo and someone has tried to name the people on it and one of the male children is Arthur?? so a clue maybe? he looks about 3 or 4 on it and the photo is taken at the home of mary Thomas.

And this is Frederick?
